Another new partner: Frieda B

25 January 2007

The sign outside Frieda B, yesterday. It's my wife's birthday today, so what better way to celebrate than finding out that we've got another Rally Partner. Alright, it's not something my wife will be too thrilled with, but it's made me happy.

I'm proud to welcome on board Frieda B, a swish bar in Clapham that, according to Patrick and Richard, the remarkably generous owners, has fun friendly people, good wines and expertly made cocktails, especially the one called 'Porn Star' apparently!

We'll find out when the whole rally crew head down to sample their wares.

Frieda B's funding will help us get the car even better prepared for the rally, perhaps even allowing us to repair the brakes. More importantly, it means more money will be heading to SPARKS.

Our new rally partner: Alfred McAlpine Infrastructure Services

05 January 2007

Some men holding an infrastructure, yesterday. It's with positive glee that I can tell you we've signed our first rally partner, in the form of Alfred McApline Infrastructure Services.

I've got to thank Chris Slack and Simon Wraight for their generosity who, despite partaking in far too much Christmas food, had enough energy left over to thrust some cash into my hands in return for plastering their logo over the car.

Alfred McAlpine's funding will help us get the car ready for the rally, meaning we'll be able to raise even more money for SPARKS. With their support, life for us has got a whole lot easier, and SPARKS will get more cash.
